Our sponsors are a crucial aspect of our robotics season. Our many generous sponsors originate from the Pittsburgh area and are determined to creating a more promising future for the next generation of engineers and scientists. Our sponsors provide us with everything from a place to work to the latest version of electronic speed controllers utilized in our robots.
Founded in the New Kensington - Arnold area, Method Automation Services has provided Spartan Robotics with a generous donation that facilitated the team's efforts for the 2019 season. The partnership stems back to the 2016 season, in which Method Automation provided the team with insights into vision processing.
After the team was founded in 2009, Saint Joseph High School has provided Spartan Robotics with state of the art machinery and a vast laboratory to construct the many robots the team has entered in competitions. The machinery the school has provided the students with has allowed the team to obtain experience on a Tormach CNC mill and several Makerbot 3d printers. Additionally, the school has also aided the team with innovative electronic components, including vision processing and updated speed controllers, further allowing the team members to elaborate on more complex designs.
For the 2019 season, Rotork of Export Pennsylvania provided the Spartan Robotics team an extremely generous discount on several 80/20 products. The members of the Spartan Robotics team would like to thank Rotork for their generous discount and flexibility while working with our team this year.
Now for the second season in a row, Lowe’s provided various crucial materials to the team in order to construct this year’s robot. The employees and management at Lowe’s were very concerned with making sure the team was able to obtain every part required. The members of Spartan Robotics are very grateful for the enthusiasm and generosity of Lowe’s.
Saint Joseph High School and Spartan Robotics would like to thank Berry Hill Webs for providing technical and programming support as well as providing food for the team. The team would also like to thank Berry Hill Webs for organizing the shirts for this years event.
Saint Joseph High School and Spartan Robotics are very proud and grateful to continue their fourth year partnership with Dryrose Creative. Dryrose Creative provided the team with an innovative mecanum wheel drive train and speed controllers for their 2018 competition robot. Additionally, they were also able to supply the team with machining tips and methods that aided the team in becoming more efficient with their Tormach Milling machine.
Such individuals, as the ones listed, provided large amounts their time, resources, and talent to make this year's team possible. Moreover, we would like to thank them for their enormous sacrifices they provided for us this year and we look forward to working with them next season.
